Earth not hot, earth never hot
"Well at least it had an ending" is the most common review I read about this last season of Snowpierce. And given the position the show was at in terms of production and funding... I kinda get it. Profitable but not enough for Netflix cuz they broke so another producer picket it up, sure, fine. The plot was not the best thing in the world it had a lot of unnecessary twists and turns the creation of a hole new player, the peacekeepers, just to bring back our old champ Wilford. The good thing is the writing was good enough for me only to notice it all after finishing it which means it was entertaining to that point.
I'm a gadget si-fi guy so I could go into how sloppy they were in this season with the science (like in the previous seasons the train couldn't stop and now looks like a subway) but I'm not gonna do that to myself...today. Just wanna say that my fellow nerd Alex was use has a plot armour with all the character potencial she had I'm a bit sad. Want it to see more of Melanie just cuz she is badass specially with Leyton arrond.
Best character and best development was Ruth she was amazing this season just amazing.
Mrs. Headwood (Sakina Jaffrey) was my favourite actor this season. Not everyone can act alongside with a pair of boots. Not even joking I could actually feel the grief of that woman, splendid. I loved the reference to the novels with the art style in the beginning and end of the season but I got scared at first cuz I thought it was some cheap CGI.
Has a side note, why does the person that causes the end of the world ALWAYS SURVIVES you killed the entire world, that single handedly shoud be enough for you to kill yourself but sure go through the "failed redption ark" of "I can fix this".
