Earth not hot, earth never hot

"Well at least it had an ending" is the most common review I read about this last season of Snowpierce. And given the position the show was at in terms of production and funding... I kinda get it. Profitable but not enough for Netflix cuz they broke so another producer picket it up, sure, fine. The plot was not the best thing in the world it had a lot of unnecessary twists and turns the creation of a hole new player, the peacekeepers, just to bring back our old champ Wilford. The good thing is the writing was good enough for me only to notice it all after finishing it which means it was entertaining to that point.  I'm a gadget si-fi guy so I could go into how sloppy they were in this season with the science (like in the previous seasons the train couldn't stop and now looks like a subway) but I'm not gonna do that to myself...today. Just wanna say that my fellow nerd Alex was use has a plot armour with all the character potencial she had I'm a bit sad. Want i...

With or without Predator

Not gonna make a review on the entire Alien saga...I have a life...sometimes. But I just need to vent the following:  WHY in the hell did they made impossible for the fans to connect the crossovers to the main story. The "Ripley" movies are compatible with the Prometheus one's and I love both those sections much more then I enjoy the Predators trilogy. Nonetheless my little geek is screaming cuz if [spoiler] David created the xenomorph around 2100 how in hell can the predators have that frozen freek in the basement of that pyramid. They are reducing 3 movies to a fever dream. Sad, just sad. I do prefer the hole creation of the creation of the creation ark but the predator's movies had already established that humans were "made". Was it that big of a stretch? Anyway I might return to the topic cuz there's so much I wanna say about this saga. And I still need to see Romulus. Bye

A lot of life but little chess

I know, I know kinda late for "The Queen's Gambit" review, but what can I say? I'm not one to go with trends when they are..well...trending. I don't know much about chess but apparently neither the creators. I'm not saying this as a bad thing this was a show clearly made for the general public. They don't teach chess to the audience so we (common mortals who don't know the game) are just happy ignorant buffoons. Some people got mad cause netflix made a Bobby Fisher inspired show instead of his actual bio...but I kinda get it they had to sell it to people which they did so mission accomplished I guess, besides the novel was already a thing so chill. (And most of the comments like this are truly just because the main character is a women and that kinda tells why this type show is needed out there) Special shout out for the awesome depiction of the 50's and 60's they hit all the nails on that part. The writing is really good her character is a bi...
